PAC is the venue of choice for contemporary art exhibitions in Milan. Initially established to house the city’s 20th-century art collections, it gradually abandoned its role as a museum to become, in 1979, a venue for temporary exhibitions. The design of the complex merges the exterior with the interior thanks to a large window that faces out over the adjacent parkland, allowing visitors to appreciate some of the environmental sculptures, such as the marble copy of Fausto Melotti’s Seven Sages. In 2007, in conjunction with the exhibition “Street Art, Sweet Art”, the facade of PAC was covered by a work – visible to this day – by the two most renowned Italian street artists: Blu and Ericailcane.
