Society for the Fine Arts and Permanent Exhibition

Society for the Fine Arts and Permanent Exhibition

One of Milan’s most historic exhibition venues, inaugurated in 1886, the Society for Fine Arts was built specifically to host art shows and was designed by the architect Luca Beltrami. It has staged exhibitions by some of the most important Italian and international artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. To this day, it serves as the venue for temporary exhibitions and, periodically, it is possible to visit the rich permanent collection. The archive is equally extensive, and can be consulted by appointment (archivio@lapermanente.it).

Via Filippo Turati, 34, Milano
TUE - SUN 10am - 1pm / 2.30pm - 6.30pm (the opening times may be subject to change during exhibitions)
