Next to the Museum of Natural History, in the Gardens of Porta Venezia, there is a small temple dedicated to the sky and its wonders – the Ulrico Hoepli Planetarium. It was the second such building to be built in Italy (after the one in Rome) in 1930 by the architect Piero Portaluppi, and retains the original instrument for projecting the “canopy of heaven”, which is the largest in Italy! A visit to the planetarium is all about discovering the myths associated with the constellations and the movement of our planet. Consult the site to check opening times and the times of the projections.
