This House-Museum is exceptionally rich both in terms of the interior layout and in terms of the collections on show there. Opened to the public in 1994, the museum is located within the residence of Baron Fausto and Baron Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi, who were responsible for a Neo-Renaissance overhaul that was initiated in the 1880s and that drew its inspiration from 16th-century Lombard homes. Strolling through the rooms, you can admire ancient plates by Giovanni Bellini, Bernardo Zenale and Giampietrino, alongside glass and ceramic pieces, wooden furnishings and other marvels. The museum is part of the circuit of House-Museums of Milan.
