Opened in 1936, this stationery shop retains its gravitas and grace: outside, there are small display cabinets with floral writing papers, whereas inside there are large dark units filled with shelves and drawers. Entering the store allows you to complete the trip through the early decades of the 20th century that the district offers. Having marvelled at the facades of the historic palazzos, when you come into this time capsule you can really imagine what life was like in Milan in those days.
