City Aquarium

City Aquarium

Sempione Park plays host to a wealth of facilities; of these, the City Aquarium (Acquario Civico) is particularly interesting, since it is the only building to have survived from the 1906 Milan expo, when it was constructed in the art nouveau style by the architect Sebastiano Locati. A decorative delight, complete with animals and plants, it houses a wonderful aquatic world that is just waiting to be explored! From one tank to the next, we learn all about the lives of the fishes that inhabit our waters.
